I am not a judge, but they look nice to me. Judging a photo is a bit difficult. Best way to tell is to enter them in a show and allow a judge to tell you what they think.

What do you think of showing birds at a fair?

My family enjoys the fairs. This is where many folks see Exhibtion Poultry for the first time. Our District Fair and State Fair are both sanctioned with teh American Poultry Association and American Bantam Association. Plus most fairs give a lot of premium money. I tell my 4H members to wear their 4H t-shirts and to look for folks that appear confused or with obvious questions on their faces. Just walk up and ask if they can be of assistance. Its lots of fun!

I love showing at our Fair.
It is especially nice for the Future of the Fancy: Kids!
The judges there are APA & still tender on the kids.
This is where the fascination starts, with all livestock!
And I might add, all things Farm from canning to quilting to wind power to calving to poultry.......it is ALL happening at the Fair, whereas in a Poultry Show, it is just poultry.
I LOVE seeing the kids change into their white shirst & black pants to go to showmanship...I love to watch them handle their birds/calves/sheep....
I LOVE the Fair!!
This is a fantastic enviroment for kids and adults to compete & learn on all levels.
