Heritage Large Fowl - Phase II

Yes, my son. He's 6' 3" and carries 235 pounds but does not look that heavy in person.

EDIT: He has seen done things that I hope no other American's child has to see or do. I tried

to pay him not to join and the Military is still trying to pay him to re-up. Knowing what I know

now, I really wish he had accepted my first offer. But we all know what is said about wishes.
He's a solid young man, know you are proud. Enjoy your fish!
Best,
Karen

I was proud the day he first spoke and took his first step!

Couldn't be more proud now.... He made a serious request that we stay at the Fairmont in Pittsburgh. I suspect he will have had enough 'Old Scotch'...he would likely able to sleep in an alley...but it's a one shot deal. We usually stay in the RedRoof Inn or Motel 6 during dog shows....I guess this is his way of making his feelings known about those sleepless nights.

Thanks a bunch Karen...the food is pretty good there...usually.

Anyone know a good material to keep coop runs from getting muddy? People say use hay or pine needles, but that will rot and not last long. I have a good feeling when all this snow melts there will be a lot of mud...

A sand base that is higher than the exterior grade. I would not use anything organic in an outside run and exposed to the rain etc.

Ya I'm almost looking forward to the 50°s and 60°s... almost. I know its going to be a mess, especially with the most recent snowfall from last night. The ground is saturated already.

We also plan to get some trees cut in the next week, the yard is going to be a mess.
