Hi All,
well I think this chick that the hen "March" hatched is a little cockerel. He has such attitude, smile. I am excited about that because his sire is a Boese/Ross cross bird. And no matter who his dam is, there will be an added shot of Boese in his make-up. The Boese's are such lovey males. I am hoping he will replace his sire as a place to go for diversity and keep more of the Boese in the gene pool.

LS stands for Light Sussex.

It is not you. It is the over use of the abbreviations (I use them some times to) You did not need to be educated on what a Light Sussex was.

Abbreviations ARE over-used. If I didn't know what breed (3RChick) is keeping, I'd not have a clue as to the breed.
