Heritage Large Fowl - Phase II

Beautiful.

I have wondered if any one on this thread raised heritage turkeys?
That's on my wish list. Not that I need another project, I just really enjoyed the pair that we had here a few years ago. Would need to figure out a proper management system, beforehand.

I don't need another project either, but I'm going to talk to the breeder where I got my Jersey about a roo and about a turkey chick (IDK what a baby turkey is called).

THanks Walt for the clarification.

I had the SOP on my Christmas wish list last year but DH didn't look at my list. THIS year I emailed him my list-- with only one item on it: SOP.

lol
I don't bother with a list; DH either gets me what he thinks I want or just kind of says Merry Christmas when he buys something I ask for in the store.

WHen I asked for the SOP last year, DH gave me a set a china. I still scratch my head over that one. I 'm the type that likes a good future fork, or a lead rope, or something of the sort for the barn. lol NOT china. lol

That is funny.
I'm not exactly the something for the farm type, but I'm also not the china and jewelery type.
I'm the something chocolate or something to stay warm or some neat-o thing for baking type. lol
(or a good book, Arthur Doyle, John Grisham, etc.)

ETA: I would be very happy with a roo for my Bantam Cochin Frizzle or my Jersey Giant; that's the kind of for the farm things I'd like. ;-)
