Heritage Large Fowl - Phase II

Hi,
Ok, so I was sitting in the living room and I hear this chick cheeping. Oh great! How did it get out of the brooder with the hardware cloth top? I go out onto the porch, turn on the light and all the chicks look up sleepily at me, " Hey! What's with the light! We sleeping here!" Hum... Ok all of them are in their brooders... Hum. Back to the living room . Hum.. await a minute! Walking over to the last incubator...well hello little one! One of the last 4 eggs of the season has hatched. What a cutie! Mystery solved!
Best,
Karen

I had a similar occurrence a couple of weeks ago. I've got eggs in the incubator and a few days earlier I had moved several eggs to the hatcher.

I hear peeping and I get up to go see the first one. No babies in the hatcher! I follow the peeping and upon opening the incubator I am met with a pair of beady little eyes looking back at me. "Hi there! What are you doing out of your egg?"

I had missed one.

This thread died, what happened? I was hoping some experts might take a look at my 4 Chantecler's for me and give me an idea of what they think of them.
These birds are from Gregg Oaks line through another source. These are my first Heritage birds that I am trying to work on. Please be honest and I will not take it personally.
These birds are nearly 6 months old.
