Hi folks I have 7 Narragansett poults and 7 poults from black winged bronze turkeys. Narragansetts hatched around 5/10/13, Poults from the Black Winged Bronze hatched around 5/3/13.
The Narragansett eggs came from two separate flocks.
The purchased the Black Winged Bronze from J Pool on ebay. This is his photo (shamelessly copied from the feather site)
And a nice flock of Black-winged Bronze

I believe 3 of the poults will be sweetgrass color, the others should be either black winged bronze or maybe penciled black winged bronze. I think these are called Tiger Bronze on Porter's web site. Honestly I am not a color geneticist and this gets confusing.
I'm confident the Narragansett will all mature with Narragansett feathering.
Poults are very healthy, eating gamebird starter and begging for attention.
I have the two groups separated, but do put them all together when we are socializing them. They get along very well so if you wanted a few from each group they should be fine raised together.
The poults are in North Central Illinois near Rockford. Pick up only. $9.00 per poult.
I'll try and get some photos.
