Looks like a cuckoo maran. It may be slow maturing. I’m still waiting for one of my pullets to lay at 7 months . If it crowded and hasn’t laid it may just have a damaged ovary. Time will tell. Also it being close to winter she might wait till spring to lay.

Not necessarily. I had one wait 9 months. Especially since it’s into fall. She might choose to wait till spring.

That’s a possibility. Do damaged ovaries mean they’ll never lay?
