One of my guinea hens has this protrusion on her chest. It affects her mobility but she makes due. Does anyone have an idea as to what this is and how to treat it. My guess was a herniated crop but I really have no clue. Thanks in advance for any insight in this matter.

It looks like what they refer to as pendulous crop in chickens. Some people make crop bras for their chicken hens.

Thanks. I saw her crap today so she's not impacted. Doesn't appear there is much that can or should be done...? I appreciate your help.

You might check in the morning to see if it’s mostly empty, which would confirm that the swelling is the crop and that the crop is able to empty...
