This is Babette's siblings she hatched for her mom Hershey. Unfortunately they think Little Foot the roo is their mommy and follow him everywhere. He is wearing Blue Spray because he got his foot stuck in a chainlink fence yesterday and beat himself up trying to get loose. This two of the babies, the other is shy, these two will take on the world!

Oh that is so cute, ducklings with a rooster for a mommy! I hope his foot heals quickly, poor guy!

He's real sweetheart, he's one we hatched in the classroom last year. He takes good care of those babies which is a good thing because Babette doesn't really know how. He protects them from the others in that pen, not that they try to hurt them they don't, but just in case he watches closely!

I love him! My rooster (silkie) needs to be protected from my ducks! They don't like him too close. I don't have any ducklings but they chase him off if he gets too close. They don't hurt him but hustles anyway.

Here is Babette with her three finally, she looks just like momma Hershey and quacks that same nasty gonna get ya quack, but she is a sweetheart. I'm sorry these are blurry, they are taken with a cell phone and trying to catch really fast ducks!

I love this one, babies first swim!

One is so tiny I've been worried about being dragged around in the cold rain, but it seems fine and it hides under Little Foot when it's cold.
