St. Judes is a wonderful, wonderful thing... When does Chilies do that?? I'll def go out to eat then too...

My life is in a tailspin right now so I can't remember if it was last week or the week before. It's always the first part of October

This. My boss's son was involved in a car accident 3 years ago that left him a parapalegic. He has white bracelets that say "Cory Will". Walk someday. Unfortunately the whole accident was his fault, but the pain for his father remains. Wearing those bracelets around Cory shows him that people care.

Chilies supports cancer research and St. Jude's offers treatment to people who have no other resources to be treated with NO COST to the patient. I cannot stress strongly enough - NO COST. They are funded by donations. ONLY DONATIONS! Their main focus is children with cancer. They have been and will always be my charity of choice.

:celebratedelta airlines def plays a big part in the breast cancer awareness. we get to wear pink this whole month! and at the check in counter passenger can donate money in exchange for a ziploc bag for their liquids.
we even have a pink plane!

I think what you are doing is a wonderful thing...

BUT

If you really want to support the cause donate directly to that cause. There is so much mis use of funds, and fraud out there its sickening.

out of the $2.00 you spend on that bracelet about $0.02 actually makes it to the front line research the rest gets eaten up by admin cost advertising, and anything else they can think of.

the breast cancer lottery here in Canada was busted for fraud a few years ago... and the big breast cancer walk the 2 day event ... I just dont have much faith when dealing with outside companies anymore... just donate direct and know where your money is going
