welcome leave while you can they will take over our life and then you will have no time to do anything else. they sucked my in to here is a warning run away fast get ot fast you will stop cleaning your house you will wake up feed chickens clean coop get on byc look at chick pics get on a hatchery site order more chick and then get ducks and geese. and then you wake up clean coops eat clean more coops get on byc clean more coops feed everyone of your animals get more animals . RUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i don't have chickens yet but that is how my life will be

Wow!! You guys are really sweet to have written so many replys. I really like this site and I might just have to stay. Still no house yet but were in the process of securing a West Seattle house with a Huge carport and alley drive way, as well as a fenced yard, I will have.................. chickens...in....seattle......

We still haven't decided on a breed of chickens but were looking into them. Thanks again for the Warm welcome!

HELLO from someone else in Washington state!!!
you will love it here on BYC almost as much as you will love having chickens!!
we knew NOTHING when we got our first 25 chicks (day old) in the mail and learned everything we needed to know HERE!
Our 8 yr old son now sells a dozen eggs a day and we have all the eggs we need, and the chickens are more entertaining then anything else.
Hope you get your place, and hope you get chickens really soon!!!!
