I am a self made farmer of 45 hens , and 25 ducks for the past 7 years and two ex race horses. I sell my eggs to a restaurant and a private chef for 5 years now and I've recently added 300 baby chicks to my flock ! I live in the NW corner of CT

Welcome to byc! That's a lot of birds, are you keeping all the new chicks? I've a soft spot for ex racers, i grew up with horses and we've had an OTTB in the family for 9 years now and wouldn't trade her for the world. ..though she's of in Ohio with my daughter now, not sure which I miss more, lol
