I am completely new to chickens and got our first baby chicks on March 8 and March 11th!
We have 8 chicks who are getting ready to be 5wks old!
We currently have 2 Olive Eggers, 3 Aruacanas, and 3 Speckled Sussex!
Our favorite aspects of having our own chickens is being able to control what they eat and how they are treated and also going out and getting our own fresh eggs every morning!
My other hobby is horse back riding and training my horses!
I am a stay at home mom of twin boys, we love animals and have 3 cats and a dog who are all inside/outside! I also have a new 2yr old horse I am training! We all love gardening and hunting and fishing too!
I found this forum when I first got my chicks and started looking for chicken questions! So back in March!
