Why hello to anyone who chooses to click on this one post out of all of them here. I thank you for your time. Well here is some info about my flock
I have four Rhode Island Red's named Nelly, Betty, Mabel, and Shelly.
A mixed breed between a Rhode Island Red and A Silkie, We'll get to him in a second. Her name is Charlie, After Charlie Chaplin from when we though She was A He. She was really big and was an early bloomer, so she had a comb a bit earlier that usual. That was good enough for me to call rooster. Then we started getting an extra egg every day. So unless we have the first egg laying rooster, I'm gonna say we have a hen on our hands
And then we have my Pride and Joy, Seymour! My Silkie rooster. he is a absolute sweetheart and was hatched out with the Rhode island Reds. We were hoping He would be a she and we would have used "Her" to hatch out chicks once we got a rooster. Well he may have been unexpected but he is a good rooster and respects the hens. He is also a love bug
and will come sit right on your lap if you give him some treats!
I do not have good pictures of The Reds right now. What I have is phone wallpaper grade but nothing I would put on the internet.
