Thanks for more pics of the inner workings and dimensions!

I guessed for space, wasn't far off...my space between false wall and main back is going to be 5" (already got the pieces cut) One extra inch shouldn't effect to much will it? I do like the clean appearance of the aluminum...I was going to go ahead and use wood.

For the 1/4" exhaust holes, how far from the front door are yours and also how far up from the floor of your cabinet? Those will be next. The 1" holes are located right behind the fans correct?

Thanks again for your help during this build!

Oh yeah, Bill F................ The inside dimensions of mine is 32-1/2" tall x 20-1/2" wide x 24" deep. It's made from oak, and has multiple coats of water based urethane clear inside and out.

I was going to ask about the finish coats...what would your thought be on a water based stain on the outside only, then urethane clear inside and out?

I've made my inside dimensions to fit a LG auto turner...15 1/8" wide, will be 15 1/2" deep to inside back wall. It's 50 1/2" tall. Want the space for the water pan shelf at the top and space for the pint jars for heat sink in the bottom with room for several trays and hatching drawers.

I think that coating plan would work just fine, Bill. I was gonna stain my outside, but chose to keep the natural light colored oak finish. The bator is gonna form condensation inside - especially at lockdown, and I didn't want the wood to absorb that. The water based urethane is really tough with multiple coats, and theres no fumes to contend with for days on end.

Good to know...my wife is the stainer in my family...so I'll get her a application rag, 600 grit sand paper, and cheese cloth...should be good to go!

My door is actually going to be made with oak, bought 1x2 oak sticks today...with 1/4" plexiglass...miters, dados, and rabbits tomorrow...(man I hate math, lol)

I think you'll be fine on the 5" duct, Bill. Yep, the 1" intake holes are dead center of each fan. Anywhere close, and I think they'll pull the fresh air in. The 1/4" holes are about 4" from the bottom and about 2" from the front. There's a repeat of these about 1/2 way up from the bottom on both sides. These were bored so I could move my probes around to find the sweet spot. A little trick. if you bore more than you think you'll need, just get some of the foam roll-up-tight ear plugs, and plug as needed. They expand and seal really good. I've unplugged some of mine before to help contol humidity several times.......especially on the hot muggy Missippy dog days of summer.
