Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

I've been busy with Zoo chores all morning, so I'm just going to get some bread started in the machine and make up a casserole ..serve a salad on the side, I guess.

It was pretty warm this morning ..now it's turned cold again ..or maybe the migraine cure is messing with me

Wow ... great meals being served here!

Tonight we had chicken in peanut sauce, rice, stir fried broccoli, carrots, snow peas, bean sprouts, mushrooms and water chestnuts, and a custard baked in phyllo cups.

I wanted to make eggrolls to go with dinner, but it didn't happen.

sniff, sniff, sniff . . . I smell some good eats here in the BYC kitchen!

I made a chicken & fettuccini primavera and garlic toast for supper. I had a lot of veggies I needed to use.

I will post the cookie recipe and the pudding recipes tomorrow.
Last night I made chicken pot pie.
Tonight I'm making spaghetti with a parmesan type sauce with broccoli and italian sausage.

Split Pea and Lentil Stew, salad, and bread. I'm just waiting til hubby gets home and we EAT!

I took out some shrump.. yes, that's the correct spelling

If I make it ..standing up has been a serious effort today ...I will stirfry the shrump and steam some long beans with a garlic'y hoisin sauce ..and dump it on some brown rice. Yes.. dump! I am feeling like dumping things ...blah!

Chicken Potpie and Lentil Stew both sound yummy ..wish I was closer!

homemade cheesesteak sandwiches, broccoli salad and watermelon. Ive got a turkey thawing in the fridge since yesterday, its huge. I hope its thawed for tomorrow.

happyhen, did you cook the rice first for your stir-fried rice? We tried something like that the other night but it wasn't quite right.
