Tonight the dear hubby and I had double dip turtle sundaes for dinner. We're old. The kids are grown. We can eat ice cream if we want.

Thanks I will have to try it also.I want to say a can of tuna and some milk, flour butter and salt but that is because I have been making it for about 50 years lol!
Hard times creamed tuna gravy
Ingredients
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
1 1\2 cups milk
1 (5oz) can of tuna drained
Salt and ground black pepper to taste
Directions
- Melt butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir flour into melted butter until smooth to make a roux. Slowly stream milk into the mixture while whisking continually. Bring mixture to a simmer and cook until thickened, about 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to medium-low. Stir tuna into the milk mixture; season with salt and pepper. Cook until tuna is warmed, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Ladle tuna mixture over toasted bread or rolls to serve.
