Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Two nights ago we had meatball subs, made with Bob Evans sausage, and french fries. Last night we had strip steak, which wasn't very good b/c I overcooked it trying to please everyone's tastes...and lima beans, boiled potatoes. Tonight my youngest is making Chicken Quesadillas for us..

Oh, and also with the meatball subs I made Roasted Hazelnut hot chocolate with fresh whipped cream. Now THAT was good, but way too labor intensive for me!

Lunch was pasta with pesto. Dinner we ate out.
But I already butchered the pheasant for tomorrow's dinner and made the broth for braising it with the giblets and carcass.

Last night was DH's turn to cook because I don't get home from work until 8:30- beef steaks on the grill, sliced potaoss in foil packets on the grill and steamed broccoli. I gladly did the cleaning up.

Lamb meatballs (it was good timing, friends of ours stop by with this mixture of spice she gets from Italy and well.....) rice and sweet potatoes (to me they are like fingerlings). Hot sweet tea to drink.

Night before last my youngest made Taco Belll chicken Quesadillas from a recipe she found. They were the best I have EVER had!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (and I'm not prejudiced, either...) Really, they were awesome, tasted like 5 STAR restaurant quality food.

Tonight we are having corned beef hash with eggs and cheddar cheese, sliced tomato and cucumber, and pudding or jello, haven't decided which.
