Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

I had a houseful of hungry mouths to feed tonight, 3 kids, their friends, hubby and bachelor brother, all coming and going at different times.

So it was focaccias with Italian sausage, red bell peppers, carmelized onions, black olives and a mix of Italian cheeses.

Didn't get to do the grocery trip today, so we had last minute scramble.
Homemade bread, still steaming from coming out of the oven, turned into eggs in toast. With eggs I stole from the bator fridge. Jim thinks if he hides all eggs in there, then I have to go get store eggs. bleh!
So minus the bacon, and butter, it was a homemade meal. Now to talk him into a cow and some pigs, then next time, it will be completely homemade. lol

My DH asked, "When are we getting a cow... ?" ..and I said, "I'd rather have a few goats cuz I can milk them and they're still small enough for me to slaughter and butcher, myself".

I think he's getting soft ...I may get my farm yet!

We had spaghetti with three cheese sauce and a new hillshire italian sausage. I have baked beans in the crockpot for tomorrow with steak and I have upside-down fr. toast in the fridge for breakfast/brunch. We'll have bacon and eggs with it. Corn with the steak and beans.

Gosh everyones dinners sound so good! I feel lazy for what I did. I shred the pork left over from my pork rst the night before. Added onions and bbq sauce and put it in the crock pot. I baked hamburger buns to serve it on and served it with a ceaser salad.

Tonight I am determined to make skands corn chowder!

It's either beans and cornbread or boiled cabbage at the way Jim wont let me go get groceries!! Either way's fine with me, but man! I need a soda baaaadddd! lol
