Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

I dont care for cherries whole in any way really. Your post reminds me of a cake my SIL makes. It is cherry cake and cherry filling with this whip cream. It is made from sour cream. The whole cake is my favorite and I love the sour taste!
You just had to say cherry pie.

That sounds good, the cherry cake! I love cherries, too. Today I'm making gluten free bread in the bread maker just because I have a gluten free mix. I'm already disillusioned wtih the mix, but I love the smell of baking bread, especially when it's dreary outside.

Salmon marinated with soy sauce, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, and maple syrup then broiled in the oven. The marinade was boiled down to a syrup for glazing the meat after cooking. We had risotto with peas alongside. Probably will have the rest of the apple pie tonight for dessert.

Have made some gluten free bread from scratch ... sigh ... it wasn't bad as long as we toasted it before we ate it but otherwise it lacked a lot. Now gluten free banana bread is SO good and easy. My kids think it's better than regular banana bread.
 
Tonight I cooked up a BIG pot of stuffed peppers - froze enough for 3 meals and we will have stuffed peppers Sat. Night. Tomorrow night it will be creamed spinach (made that tonight also), baked sweet potatoes, and maple breaded pork chops. Sunday it's off to Md for son's 48 th birthday
