Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Salisbury steaks made with local beef, over brown rice, with sauteed brussels sprouts. YUM!

Tonight I shall make rosemary/balsamic chicken breasts with scalloped potatoes and fried zucchini and onions.

Ha funny! I'm having sprouts tonight too! Roasted with butter, salt, pepper and garlic... yum!
With a grilled pork chop and homemade fries..

Actually, I am making chicken fried steaks with mashed potatoes/gravy and salad. I am not suppose to have all this as I am Diabetic type 2, but once in awhile I fix his favs.

With our Pennsylvania Dutch Heritage it has to be ~ pork & sauerkraut for supper on New Year's Day.

Slow cooker chili made with local beef simmering away all day... mmmm!

Tonight it was pork rib roast seasoned with paprika and garlic, mashed potatoes, gravy, fresh carrots, with a green salad for starters. Oh yeah some fresh sourdough bread was part of the deal .

We're having Hunter's Hash, only with hamburger. And a vegetable, not sure what. Last night we had German apple nut torte with whipped cream (YUM!) amazingly simple and cheap to make, and a fish sandwich with lettuce and tomato and leftover green salad. Night bf, we had a big salad, and cherry pie for dessert.

Sour cherry pie is my to die for absolute favorite.

We had meatloaf, mashed potatoes, and steamed green beans with onions and bacon and a homemade apple pie a la mode for dessert. It was yummy!
