Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

It was an ice cream cone at Brusters. Took GD out for her 13th b'day and had a BIG Mexican lunch.

Going out for 'half priced pasta'. I don't have to cook.

Woo Hoo! Great minds think alike---it's Monday so it's cheep chicken from Albertsons. either Jojos, tots or French bread, haven't decided. Peas for a veggie. And if I'm going to the store, chances are really, really good I'm coming home with ice cream!

Lasagna and crescent rolls.

Was making some meals for friends who are bringing their toddler home from Doernbechers in Portland--I've come to appreciate having a meal fixed those first few days home from the hospital!--and decided 2 lasagnas are as easy to make as one.

Well done on 'paying it forward', Rachel.

Steak, baked sweet potatoes, green beans with a lettuce/mozzarella/tomato/Balsamic vinaigrette salad - that's for tonight. I'm also cooking a chuck pot roast for tomorrow or Sat.

Lemon pepper/garlic pot roast with mashed potatoes and sweet and sour red cabbage - had enough pot roast to freeze half for a later meal.

Yesterday we saw a movie and stopped to eat on the way home. Tonight it will be left overs from Thursday - at least twice as good the second time around.

And, I still have half a pot roast frozen for the future.
