Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

We had Farmhouse chicken tonight. Still fighting a stomach bug around here--all the guys have had it, but not me.....so far, so good! So, tried something easy on the belly--so far 2 of 3 have held it down

Tonight I am making pan fried steak, yellow summer squash, baked potatoes, and tomato and mozzarella salad with balsamic vinaigrette.

I was going to make chicken enchiladas, but I'm feeling completely unmotivated. We have a nice big pot of beef veggie soup left over from last night. I may just make breadsticks and call it dinner (again).

-getting out and traversing to the super market today (which I do NOT like to do on the weekend). -going to pick up some steaks to grill this evening. -baked potatoes, salad, and some sautéed mushrooms shall accompany the beef.

We went out for our anniversary party, and I had pan fried shrimp and scallops over an angel hair/shredded zucchini mixture. All of this prepared by one of my ex Webelos scouts who is now a chef/restaurant owner. And it was good.

Happy anniversary to Sourland and the Princess! Congratulations. How many years?

I had a garden full of teenage boys shooting a zombie apocalypse video. I did what any sensible, tired mom would do and went to Little Caesars. Fed 5 teenage boys for $27, snagged some Italian cheese bread for myself and have enough leftovers for the boys to have pizza as a snack tomorrow. I call that a win!

Thanks, Rachel - 50 years. Tonight we had left overs from last nights meal (Princess and Daughter's choice) - beef filets, mashed potatoes, green beans (made them fresh) and a whipped cream, strawberry 'wedding cake'.
