We had Friday Night Fish Fry - DH ordered Walleye and I had the Perch. Yummy! but a little stretch on the diet budget.

We haven't been out to a movie in a long time. I think the third installment of Lord of the Rings was the last time.

We are having a wild game supper at church tonight. They are serving BBQ plates and the wild game is to sample.

I'm making venison sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits for the wild game cook off. I hope it is different enough for the judges to notice.

For the dessert cook off, I'm making an Italian Love Cake. I've made this once before and got a good response so I hope I have a chance.

Ended up 5th out of 18 in the wild game. It's better than last year. I didn't see how I did in desserts. I think I cooked my cake too long. It seemed dry, but the ricotta cheese layer of the cake was really good.

There is a big pot of beef paprikas cooking away on the stove. It will be served with creamed spinach and 'toast' dumplings. I salivate as I type this.
