Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

I'm letting Albertson's do the cooking tonight. Cheep chicken. I'll make coleslaw and fries to round things out.

I have pork chops thawing to tomorrow. I did that marinade Ron posted, the garlic lime, on some chicken recently. I may try it on pork, we'll see what I'm thinking come tomorrow.

I have some pork chops marinating for tonight!

It the rain hold off, I will fire up the Weber and BBQ them. If not, they will go under the broiler.

Smoked Sausage,- steamed, then diced and saute'ed with onions, mushrooms, zuccinni and tomatoes. Cooked penne pasta tossed in and left to simmer for 5 minutes. Tasty. DH even liked it.

i have a friend who makes an tapenade with olives, garlic, scallions and herbs.in fact, there are more herbs in it than anything else. and, of course, really good olive oil. i'm part of a small pool who participate in the annual lottery to see who gets any leftovers. i have had it and it is remarkably good. and not really too much dragon breath. . . maybe only monitor lizard breath.

Oh, I think mac and cheese is the way to go with my pork chops tonight. I didn't marinade them at all, will probably just pan fry. maybe some apples and onions? Cauliflower for the veggie. It was on sale this week, we'll be eating a lot of it. Good thing the family loves it. I'm blessed, they're really so easy to cook for.
