Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Last night was Oven Stew made with Venison and Bakery Bread.
I am down with the flu and too sick to make homemade bread so DH stopped at the Bakery and picked up the loaf of bread.

today for lunch was salad and coconut curry soup,

both where from the store, never had a coconut soup before (or curry in this case as well) and was really good, and the salad was organic.

Margaritas....plural!

Chinese takeout - i was out with the flu and DH was in charge of supper.

Stuffed cabbage, pierogis, and green beans will be our supper.

Kentucky Fried Chicken...and don't tell me how bad it is! I love it and the only time we can get it is when we drive down to Riverton for one of Ken's Masonic events, and that's 3.5 to 4 hours away, depending on the roads. On those rare occasions when we go down there, our last stop is always KFC, and I get a big bucket, two coleslaws, and biscuits. Don't care for what they try to pass off as mashed potatoes and gravy. I ate some on the way home, daughter Tam will come over tomorrow and get some, and the rest is mine...all mine!! I'll eat it until it's gone, too! Lucky for me Ken hates chicken!!

Don't get KFC much. The franchise in our town was so poorly run that they shut down. I , too, like KFC.

I love KFC! DH decided he hates it so we don't go there anymore. I need to find one close to work so I can do it for lunch occasionally.
Homemade Pizza tonight. Sausage, pepperoni and bacon for DH. Sausage, bacon, onions and mushrooms for me. We each get to make our own - with one crust leftover to make a lunch one.

Open face pot roast sandwiches with carrots and mashed potatoes. Early supper. Later I plan on blintzes as 'dessert'.
