Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

No judgement! We have hens but still not 100% wed ever be able to eat them.
My birds were never pets, so killing and eating or selling them was never an issue (though not something I relished doing). I enjoyed breeding / hatching, so every six months the oldest girls had to go in order to make room for new ones.

We’re not quite there yet, just newbies with our first 8 girls.
We have 4 kids and of course they named them all and we spend a lot of time “playing with” and holding them. Eggs is about as far as we’ll get with them I think.
My husband says he’ll gladly do the deed and cook them when the time comes, but we’ll see... can’t really see doing anything like that, but I think it makes him feel manly to let us think he could!🤠
 
This was dinner taco I like mine with tortilla strips, the guys use tortillas to wrap them.. I did a coleslaw of red cabbage, zucchini and carrot the dressing is a recipe I was given
