Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Why? How in the heck were you supposed to know? It’s all pretty new to me too, so I tend to wisecrack about it. And I’m making up for it tonight with a pork tenderloin! Can’t have potatoes, and can’t have my beloved sauerkraut with it, but I plan to roast some summer squash and carrots, and indulge in a little coleslaw, because cabbage is on my good list. I’m learning as I go here! :idunno I probably should have been eating sensibly with or without kidney disease, so now that I’m forced into it, I’m going to make the best of it. (But I’d kill for a Pepsi!!)

Can you have tomato products?
I love shredded sautéed cabbage with some tomato sauce cooked into it.
Or even just plain sautéed cabbage in olive oil with salt and pepper is damn good too.

Tonight I plan on making chicken cordon bleu, mac and cheese, broccoli, and summer squash.

'Special orders don't upset us' - Princess wanted noodles and cottage cheese so they took the place of the mac and cheese. Also squash had gone bad  so I made beets. That's the second or third time that squash has spoiled far to rapidly.
