What about Bisquick ? My mother used to make stew with a Bisquick crust - it was great. I am not very good at making stews. Not quite sure why, but they end up being too bland. Don't know what I am missing.
 
I use bisquick to make a top on stews. We are not really into thin soup.
I make most as a stew make a great chowder but use beef or ham in them.
Being without a thyroid have to limit certain fish and iron rich foods
 
Turned out great - froze two meals worth, and have leftovers for another meal. The Princess is complaining about all of the stuff used in preparation. Hey, there are 3 more meals that will make little to no mess. :tongue

Been going since 7:30 this morning .. Bought 4, 4 pane wood windows one for the coop we enlarging the other three the new coop ..
Ran to Costco in and out .... cleaned coops paid for second cord and half of wood for winter ... Made peanut butter sandwiches out the door ate them on the way to my Dr appointment... Get home my shipped eggs are here resting.
