Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Hi all! I hope you guys had a nice Valentine's Day! We went out to Palm Springs to see some friends so we weren't home to read all of your wonderful meal plans until this evening. As always, some yummy things to be had!

Friday - Take out Mexican
Saturday - Grilled Tri-Tip, baked potatoes with the fixin's, steamed broccoli, and salad.
Sunday - Costco Pizza (planned that one ahead of time because I knew we'd just be rolling in from our weekend).

MIL cooked a wonderful ham with baked potato and corn. I made deviled eggs and forgot to take them with!

So even though they don't really go with what we are having for dinner, I will serve them anyway!

I will fry up some chicken breast cut into pieces, season with onions, garlic and spices. Serve that and baby corn on top of a bed of rice. My DH loves rice! He would eat just that and be happy with it.

Happy Monday everyone!

Since there are a few leftovers in the fridge and we've been gone this weekend, tonight will be a reheat and clear out the fridge meal. It has been raining cats and dogs here all day and will rain again tomorrow. It'll feel good to end this rain and begin my week with a clean fridge. Sure has been nice not having to run around in the rain today what with the kids off of school and all.

It looks like the West Coast is getting hammered with rain and snow. You all take care. For once, we're seasonal. Chilly (28), sunny and dry.

It was chicken parmigiana tonight with spaghetti, homemade marinara and garlic breadsticks. A tossed green salad on the side and brownies a la mode for dessert.

thechickenchick - yummm!

Redfeathers - I love that kind of dinner!

BB - sounds like you had a wonderful weekend!

I hope that cknmom gets a chance to check in. Where she lives is getting hammered really badly. Monica - Are you OK up there?

We've had bouts of really hard rain and wind, but it hasn't been too bad because it hasn't been constant. There was just a break in the weather so I got a chance to let the girls out of their run for a little bit. I think they were quite happy with the number of worms that they found along with lots of tender grass and other goodies. They even found a dry spot in the planter under the patio cover in which to take a dust bath.

The rain, change in barometric pressure ..and my "visitor" ..has me eating Imitrex again. If there's going to be any food consumption, DH will be getting it elsewhere

Stay warm and dry, folks!

I think I'm down for a count this time...

Hopefully your migraine will ease when the weather changes. BTW, no hurry and if you remember, can you share the recipe for your sandwich bread? You mentioned it awhile back and it sounded really good.

BB - like you, I'll feel better when cknmom checks in. At least her pantry is well stocked. Hopefully she's ok.

Aneesa, I hope you feel better soon!!

I felt like baking so I made two loaves of bread. We had meatloaf, baked spuds and green beans to go with it.
