Oh, that's the big debate here. One child wants "lemon pancakes" (AKA Dutch Baby pancakes with lemon and powdered sugar) and the other one says no to that but has offered no ideas of her own. I have no opinion of my own other than it being easy. What we should have is *eggs* now that all three of our girls are laying again! Wooo hooo! Believe it or not, the EE went 213 days between her last egg and her most recent - July 19, 2008 - February 17, 2009. And, we thought she was just done laying.

Thanks again, everyone

I am not 100% ..but I have one of my prescriptions to keep the worst of it at bay (they haven't filled the other one I need yet).

I even cooked...

Steamed some brown Jasmine, sliced up some very large Crimini mushrooms, about a lb. of boneless breast, thinly sliced half of a large onion, a green bell pepper and a huge clove of garlic. I sauteed the "vegetable" stuff first ..then tossed in the chicken with a little cornstarch and soy sauce. When the chicken was no longer pink, I added some freshly ground black pepper, grated orange rind and a little water. Let that simmer very briefly and then served it over the rice. DH was very happy

Now I'm off to nurse maid little Tia.. my blind nekkid girly rodentia. She's old and having a little bit of a problem staying hydrated and warm, at the same time. She sure likes to surf the net from the comforts of my shoulder and let down hair

Happy belated Birthday, Redfeathers!!

Aneesa - Glad to hear you're mending. I hope you're 100% soon.

We went with French Toast last night which made everyone happy. Of course, I have to put peanut butter and powdered sugar on mine.

Anyone else do that?

Tonight I'll make the salmon (not sure how yet), steam some broccoli, and serve it with some kind of rice. My brain hasn't completely wrapped around the plan yet. I'm still working on my morning coffee.

I made macaroni and cheese (from a recipe) the other night in the crockpot It was horrible.

Canned green beans with it. The next night I made pork chili (which was much better...good, actually!) and toasted flour tortillas. last night we went to Max & Erma's for a marching band fundraiser. That was the best of all.

I was going to cook breakfast for dinner. DH must have the BBQ bug because he did steaks last night and wants to do burgers tonight! So in the spirit of BBQ burgers I made a pasta salad and will make baked beans!

Mind you it was snowing when he bbqd last night and we are spose to get an inch tonight!! Oh well! We are tired of winter so I guess we can pretend its spring!

Well.. today was the first blogtalkradio show with Akron Reptiles... "Chicks and Reptiles" ..so I called in and did my contribution. Now, I have to figure out what we're gonna eat for dinner...

I made biscuits this morning and have a little bit of dough left over ..so maybe some dumplin's and chicken, sauteed green beans, and whatever else. I made 4 dozen Oatmeal Raisin cookies, too ...and they are GOOOOOD.. thank you again, Backyard Buddies!
