I remember the joy of payday.

We're going to see a movie this afternoon, and I think we'll eat at 5 Guy's Burgers.

I've just discovered pinterest...they get left over chili.

I've flat refused to go on pinterest. This site takes up enough of my time, I'm scared to go somewhere like that that would just suck me right in!

Humm? whaa? I came up for air from pinterest and come here. Geewhiz. I Have got STOP this madness! I know, I'll go watch some netflix.

Why, no. Pathetic is not my middle name.

If they just finish up that chili- I'd cook. It is their fault. really.

LOL! A friend of mine apprised me about pinterest a while back. I hopped on there for about five minutes, then deactivated my account. My family would have never seen me again had I not done so.......

You ladies are too funny! Wouldn't our lives be so much easier sometimes if those other people living in our houses didn't expect us to cook? Or have conversations? Any accountability as to what's going on in the same room?

Pork 'adobo', mashed potatoes and gravy, Vegetable? (maybe cabbage), biscuits - -

Does anyone eat bread with gravy? At the end of each meal my father would have his 'dessert' - two slices of buttered bread covered with copious amounts of gravy. For some reason I thought of that tonight as we were clearing the table.

My grandparents did, and my husband often does if there's leftover gravy. My grandparents were the "bread and butter at each meal" type, if I remember correctly. My mom didn't raise us that way, so I don't eat it.

I firmly believe gravy goes best with potatoes. Biscuits are good also, esp with scrambled eggs on top

Okay, I was going to do nachos for dinner, but now I'm thinking breakfast for dinner. I've actually got enough birds laying again I'm needing to use up some eggs!
