BBQ Chicken boiled potatoes and corn on the cob
Pulled porks on Saturdays menu, pasta tomorrow, this evening was fend for yourself. I roasted garlic and asparagus to have with crackers and a mango![]()
Mm, fried squash, gonna have to make that now. .
Keep in mind that everyone will do it differently, but this is how I make mine:
Cut a hole out of # of desired pieces of bread. My favorite is to use Texas toast. To cut the hole I just use a champagne glass. /img/smilies/smile.png OH! Save the hole!
I lightly coat the bread and hole (both sides) with butter and place both on a medium to medium high heat frying pan.
In the hole I put more butter (I'm a butter-holic), and crack one egg into the hole.
Once it starts to solidify and sizzle I personally like to break the yolk - my husband threatens me if I do this to his - he likes his yolk 'dippy'.
When I deem it ready, I flip my bread to cook the egg on the other side. I also flip the hole.
You can sprinkle shredded cheese onto it, or to avoid a cheesey mess on your frying pan, you can just lay a slice of cheese on top. My DD loves cheese - I forego the cheese.
Don't forget your grilled bread hole - perfect for dipping yolk (or so I'm told). I like to just eat it. /img/smilies/smile.png
My directions are a little shoddy - but I hope this helps!
Enjoy!
