Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Browning off one of the pretty chuck roasts I bought recently for a nice pot roast tonight. I'll cook onions and carrots with it, and we'll have potatoes on the side. Maybe mashed, maybe roasted, not sure yet.

Tonight I made mozzarella/tomato salad and a pizza pie.

Yeah, kinda a no-brainer, right? dinner will be around 7 West Coast time. I'll open the gate and put the dogs up, just pull in beside the van with the zombie bumper stickers

Grilled lamb burger on ciabatta bun, with kalamata olive tapenade, feta cheese, thinly sliced red onion. With home fries. Followed by hard pie.

I believe we will have a chicken. (Not mine) cut up and fried with some Larry the cable guy's chicken coating.
I don't know what else yet.

Tomorrow may involve making a pizza dough, smothering it with the sauce I just made from the garden, possibly pineapple, sausage, black olives and mozzarella.

Picked up some stuffed cabbage and beef barley soup at European Provisions - one or both will be supper.

We're having grilled pork chops and salad. leftover mashed taters for the boys.

Maybe the best beef barley soup that I have ever had! The old Polish ladies that run that place surely know how to cook. Reminds me very much of my MIL's cooking. She was a really good cook.
