..and trying to decide what to bait my coop traps with ..darn rodents!


....maybe lasagna with the sauce I saved from the crockpot efforts earlier this week ..for our dinner, I mean ..not the darn rodents!

Hi everyone. Happy Friday

Chickenchick I need a good homemade bbq sauce recipe. I have a couple I use, but I'm always interested to hear what other people use in theirs. If you would like to share????

We are having chicken fried steak with gravy, mashed taters and salad. I think I'm going through a comfort food stage. Soon the weather will be warm and we will only want fresh chicken, salads and produce...so I'm getting those high calorie meals in while I can. lol

BBQ at my friend's house tonight in celebration of their new chicken coop! I finally talked some of my friends into chickens!!!

They are also turning on their new hot tub today...

DS is having a friend spend the night. I think I will just make up a big batch of spaghetti. Pretty inexpensive and goes along ways. I only have 1 son so it always surprises me how much other teenage boys eat! One weekend we had 2 of his friends over all weekend! I swear by Monday there was not a morsel of food left in the house!

I will also make a batch of Gump Bread and an apple pie.

Yummmm! Some really good meals here, as usual.

Just DH and myself, so it was our favorite pizza tonight .... artichoke and sliced tomato with fresh mozzarella ... baked on the grill for that wood-fired taste. Italian style salad and a nice bottle of red while watching the sun set.

we had sausage hoagies with sauce and cheese, steamed broccoli and sweet potato frys. Farm fresh sausage from my uncle.
