Lunch was simple and boring... Oven roasted turkey sandwich with horseradish sauce on whole wheat with cheddar potato chips...

Forgot to put out meat for dinner... ODL I cant wait to see what I pull outta my hat for that!

One of my girls has stopped laying again - or rather, she's laying soft shells - so I don't have many eggs at the moment. They ARE over 3 years old, so they aren't as regular as they used to be. So, that said, it'll probably be something like oatmeal or waffles for dinner tonight.

How much longer, Zoo, until you get to eat solid food again?

I'm thinking I might see if DH wants to meet me in town after I get off work to grab something.

On a more creative dinner thought, I've been craving spaghetti noodles covered in a yummy chili - and don't forget the fresh cheddar cheese ontop. Yum yum yum.

Last night was grilled ham steak and mac n cheese. tonight is homemade english muffins with egg, bacon and cheese,carrot cake for dessert.

Bo Luc Lac (Vietnamese Shaking Beef with Garlic Sauce over spinach salad), spring rolls and rice.

We had sausages and peppers (last summers harvest, frozen), mine on whole wheat buns, his on white bread, with a salad of baby lettuce (mesclun mix) fresh from the garden with homemade italian style salad dressing. (insert smiley rubbing full tummy with satisfied look on face)

So happyhen, how do you make "Bo Luc Lac"? Any recipe that says "garlic" in it, has got to be good.

It's cooled down considerably here in Cali, so I'm taking full advantage of it. I'm making split pea and ham soup! Yummy!
