Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Can you eat dried blueberries covered with dark chocolate?

I don’t know if I CAN, but I do know that I won’t! I don’t like chocolate. <shudder>. I know, it’s unAmerican! But it does make Ken have to think on anniversaries and Valentine’s Day because a box of chocolates will get him tossed out on his ear. :lau

Not even White chocolate?

That one is likely very bad for the kidneys though

I've been bad lately with my diet. I'm on a business trip (headed home today actually), so I have resorted to restaurants and fast food. The last few days have been pizza, meatball sandwich, Italian sub, cheeseburger and even ice cream!

It sure has been a delicious week though. :drool

Well, the ice cream wasn't all that bad.

Last night I made Chicken picata, mashed/maple butternut squash, and mac and cheese. Today I have a late dental appointment so we will go to Cracker Barrel for the turkey special. I could eat turkey every day of the week.

I like turkey too. A lot of people don't, and I just cannot understand it. They clearly haven't had it cooked right. We always stock up around Thanksgiving when they are cheap. I butcher them further into quarters and cutlets and we make stock from the carcasses and scraps. Homemade turkey stock is rich and velvety (thanks to the fat content).
