Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

Something like shepherds pie tonight. Leftover mashed potatoes were the influence. I made a stew with some leftover chicken and a pound of ground beef along with bell pepper, potatoes, zucchini, onion and garlic from the garden and peas from the store. For a broth I used shine turkey stock with the fat still in it that we made in November and had in the freezer. I thickened it with some whole wheat flour added a bit of seasoning and topped the stew with leftover mashed potatoes. Bake it in the oven to brown the potatoes a bit and that's dinner.
