I hope the canning goes well!We had chicken quesadillas tonight. Kids had Mac and cheese on the side. I just ate mine with green tomato salsa I'm canning - btw, if you saw that I'm canning in another thread it's STILL in progress.
2 jars cracked 24 jars are on the counter and sealed fine though. These jars made the trip from central TN to Chicagoland in our trunk so I imagine there were hairline cracks or chips that led to the 2 broken jars. Still a year supply of salsa here though. And ~40 lbs of tomatoes to still deal with. Making green tomato catsup tonight with a recipe shared by another BYC member. And then I'm thinking about doing a relish/chow chow type thing with green tomatoes and sweet and hot peppers.I hope the canning goes well!
