Hey Grandpa, What's for Supper? Part 2

I could eat turkey every day. Don't know why I don't cook it more frequently. :idunno
We eat it a lot. I don't do ground turkey as I find it bland, but we buy whole turkey's on sale at Thanksgiving and break most of them down into legs, thigh, breasts and wings. We then freeze these in vacuum sealed bags and use throughout the year.

We roast the backs, tails, organs and any trimmings/scraps in the oven and then boil it all into several gallons of stock, which we freeze flat in gallon zip bags. Last year's stock lasted a whole year. This year I made a mistake that ruined the stock we were making, but we continue to collect bones and scraps as we cook the cuts of meat and are able to make smaller batches of stock in the Instapot.

My favorite turkey uses so far are stew, turkey jambalaya, and turkey nuggets/tenders. I never mind roasted turkey though either, especially thighs with crispy skin. :drool
