She got a tad bit of the water out of the watermelon. That girl is spoiled rotten. She is getting good to go to bed by herself now and she gets back in her makeshift coop to lay about 4 eggs a week now. She deserves a few treats.

I've been promised ground beef hash tonight. I got some really good looking ground sirloin and we have potatoes than are starting to sprout so the time is right. I'm sure there is something green in the freezer to go along on the side and the norm is a big hunk of cranberry sauce too.

I got a frozen sweet & sour chicken dinner instead. By the time we made all the rounds and got really tired and give out in the heat I didn't want my wife slaving away in the kitchen. There will be less to do tomorrow and the taters will keep another day.
