One grandson has to work so he may not show.

-hope he can make it for a while.

Tonight it is pork chops, mashed potatoes, peas, carrot & apple salad.

It's 'family Christmas' today. We will eat cheeses, hors/douerves sp? and salads and later Polish traditional stuffed cabbage, pierogies, and kielbasa and sauerkraut followed by birthday cake and cookies. One grandson has to work so he may not show.

I hope he can get off early!

Early dinner tonight of sausage biscuit roll, gravy, hash brown casserole, red hot apples, and eggs, followed by Christmas Eve service at church, followed by chocolate pie and coffee. The large family meal will be tomorrow.

He was unable to make it. He works for a company that utilizes Border Collies to clear public areas from Canada geese. Yesterday he was scheduled for Central Park in NYC. We've changed our tomorrow plans and will go to our daughter's so that we can see him.

Turkey, roast beef poboys, potato salad, stuffing, cheesy broccoli rice casserole, corn dip with the lil silver dollar tortilla chips, baked beans, cornbread, 2 types of cakes, candied yams, chocolate cupcakes with chocolate icing. No ham that was swapped for the poboys.

Well have this today, tomorrow, the next day, the day after that, etc.

He is in a period of growth/transition right now, and is presently doing what he needs to do where he needs to be. He loves the dogs and the company that he works for. The future may include graduate school in some form of environmental science. I told him no pressure - I'm still trying to figure out my purpose at 82.

Yeah me too! I keep changing my mind. Pretty sure astronaut is off the table but during the pandemic I learned how to land an airliner! You know, in case absolutely everyone else on the plane was dead….I hope that never comes in handy!
