Here is a picture of our little splash (left) and a young roo. I feel more comfortable leaning pullet with ours after comparing body shape and posture of the roo on the right.

Another day another update on these three guys!

Up first is the black chick. Everyone’s a little wet and had their front floof “combed back”.

This splash chick is the oldest. I know the crooked break looks rough but he/she has been able to eat and drink and live an uninhibited chicky life.

Youngest chick who I thought was dark partridge but maybe is just black? Or a blue? I guess we’ll wait and see

I’m growing suspicious of our little black chick, do I see some roo-esque tail feathers growing? Comb is still very flat and not seeing streamers.
