I'm recovering from having a stupid double cyst cut out of my shoulder (just a note--if you have one of these anywhere on your body that you're putting off having removed, just go ahead and DO IT before it turns into a bigger problem--trust me), and once I took my pain meds tonight I did not feel like cooking, so I reheated leftover casserole for the kiddo, and my husband ran down to Sonic and bought me corn-dogs.

Darn Sonic, so tasty and tempting.

Ouch! My uncle did this last week. By the time he got to his doc, it was infected.
And I do know how to spell zuccini. I have no idea where that typo came from!!

Tonight I am trying a new recipe I got from sred98 on another thread. It is chicken and dumplings and sounds wonderful! I can't believe that I have never tried to make this before. Now... what to have with it? Maybe just a salad?

ninjapoodles.. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Ouch! I hear anything done on the shoulders is really painful. I hope you feel better soon!

It's Wednesday, so it's breakfast for dinner. I'm not sure what I'm going to do yet, but it'll probably be something pretty simple. The other day, I made some yummy pancakes with banana slices, chopped walnuts, and home made caramel syrup. It was soooooo good!

happyhen.. that cottage-dill bread sounds interesting ..do you have a recipe that you'd care to share?

ninjapoodles... I hope your recovery is speedy and uneventful!

My great-grandmother ...whom I seem to be the double of.. and my Mom's brother .....they've both had battles with cysts over the years ..so I am likely headed that way. I will keep your advice at hand.

Ninja: Oh ouch!! I hope you feel better soon. My DH has a cyst on his back and I have been bugging him to have it removed for ages... Maybe I will bribe him with foot massages and Sonic

I think I am going to make a motherload of egg roll filling today with my two big cabbages and the carrots I just pulled up from the garden. Instead of ground pork though, I am going to use crayfish in the filling. I am going to try freezing a bunch of it... Hope it works!! So, I guess we will have my baked egg rolls for dinner and lord knows what else

Aneesa's Muse, I'm happy to share the recipe. It's our favorite bread with either potato or beet soup. I let the bread machine do the work, then form and bake.

Cottage-Dill Bread

3/4 cup water
1/2 cup cottage cheese (any % fat content and curd size works)
2 TBSP butter (in small pieces)
2 tsps honey
3 cups flour
1-2 tsps dried dill weed (personal taste, I use 1 rounded tsp)
1 1/2 tsps salt
2 tsps SAF yeast (1 packet regular yeast)

Bake @ 375 degrees for 25 minutes.

All those in Ike's path, thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Please stay safe.

Sorry to quote myself but had to brag that I didn't do breakfast. I made Asian shrimp lettuce wraps with teriyaki noodles with edameme.
