Hey Grandpa, What's For Supper?

I tried a new recipe I found. It was Buffalo roasted chicken. It had just the right spice (hot) and fell off the bone. DH liked it with ranch to dip in! He would eat ranch on everything, if I would let him! I served sweet potatoes with brown sugar and marshmellows with it.

Stopped at my MILs while I was in town yesterday. She was making her famous potato salad. She offered me half of it if I ran to the store for her! Heck ya! I'll go for that! So I hid it in the back of the fridge so we can have it tonight! If DH would have known it was there it would have been a bedtime snack and breakfast! So tonight is hotdogs, mac and cheese and potato salad.

I don't have any idea ...menu fell through a few times in the last week or so ...so I could make the Blackened Yellowtail or the fresh Pesto sauce or Buffalo Wings and Shrimp Purses or... just be lazy and do the frozen Ravioli and a store bought jar of sauce from the cubbard

On the other hand.. I could eat cold cereal and go back to bed after my Zoo chores

served with a warm crusty bread or hot from the oven rolls.

Aneesa - thanks for asking. We had a full house and a festive Election Night dinner yesterday, with much conversation and good-hearted debate! Since my (carefully non-political) post was deleted, I re-posted in much more general terms.

Tonight was Sante Fe burgers, (grilled burgers on grilled sourdough with Jack cheese and a spicy ranch sauce), fries and pickles.

last night was pot roast with all the fixins'

Tonight we're having Hoo May chow mein (that's a boxed chow main mix that is made in a nearby plant) when we were living in Mi I had relatives sending boxes and boxes of it. Sooo good.
I'll put onions chinese vegetables and chicken in it and throw it on hamburger buns for chow mein sandwhiches.
