I finally did it. My first time this week to actually cook. Roast in the crockpot with onions and carrots. Fresh snap beans with potatos, onions, red pepper and mushrooms. I'm not sure yet, either cornbread or rolls. Will let DH decide which he prefers.

Oh Boy! Would you believe:
A chicken fried steak stuffed baked potato slathered with gobbs of white milk gravy.
The potato was the size of a NFL regulation football to begin with.
Then toast and cold sweet milk.

Now it only hurts if I breathe!

Little Caesar's cooked tonight.

Tomorrow, I'm planning a nice Sunday dinner. Probably a beef roast with mashed potatoes and gravy, fresh string beans and cornbread. Haven't given much thought to a dessert yet, might make a cherry cheesecake.

I have been sick so it's been quick easy meals all week. I was feeling better yeserday so I fixed a REAL meal:

Pork steaks, corn, homemade stuffing with homemade bread.

I didn't sleep at all last night so it will be a simple meal tonite- either a type of salmon quiche ora salmon and past casserole, can't decide.

Strombolii and salad. It was awesome, I've never had stromboli before. She learned how to make it in nutrition class at school. Today, my 15 year old daughter made smoothies for breakfast...they were awesome, too!

Wow, I made homemade Calzone with ham. Real easy, I use the refrigerated roll of pizza dough. the kids love it. And a root beer float.

I am having Strawberry Shortcake. Yes that is my dinner tonight. Lots and lots of strawberry short cake along with heaping spoonfulls of cool whip and maybe for desert - choclolate ice cream.
What do ya'll think? Is the ice cream to much?

That was one yummy dinner!

I had a half of a bakery French bread in the oven I was going to reheat to serve with dinner but when I pulled it out, it hadn't been wrapped properly and was a bit on the tough side.

So, now I have a bread pudding in the oven that I'll serve with a whiskey sauce.

Thanks for that hint. I have a yard full of mint.

I actually felt no guilt whatsoever. I just look at it as having fruit and frozen milk for dinner. LOL
