Hey guys! New memeber and need some help..

We have a grown duck( unsure of age) and his foot has been hurt for a little over a week...from other posts and pictures I have seen, it could be fractured or possibly a break..we have him secluded in his own space, we have the durvet vitamins and electrolytes powder...what else do I need to do?

If the foot is damaged as you say then you need to make a splint or your duck will be crippled for life .

His foot is black and the bump on its foot hasn't gone down ....we wrapped it with the Epson salt and medical tape we don't know for sure if it broken

So we wrapped it in medical tape and Epson salt his ankle I messed up saying his foot is black and didn't seem to feel me wrap it at first...

Is there any chance you could take him to a vet to have his leg set properly if it is broken?

You could get some advice posting on the duck forum and/or the emergency forum. Include all the details and some photos of your ducks foot.

No there expensive I guess I just moved to the farm last summer. I had suggest that thank you though
