My husband and I are beginner poultry raisers, we just wanted to say hello to everyone. He is currently active duty army, and Im ex active duty army. Both did a tour in Iraq, and now want to start a farm, starting with poultry. We have 9 hens, and 9 juvi chicks, 2 roos. We built a large run and a large coop ourselves, and have had no problems with any of our chickens yet other then the occasional chicken fight lol. We just got our first turkey, and ran into some pasty butt, but hopefully thats over now. We also have 4 guineas, and two ducklings. He is from orlando, and im from chicago, currenly in louisiana.
