Well, let's call it a joint effort and feel all proud of our combined storing, packaging and incubating skills!

But... I honestly just think the Daisies seem to be a bunch of hardy wee buggers.

Final tally: Daisies - 7, Mutts 5. The Daisies beat the mutts hands down!

I'll get an updated pic of the whole gang once i have woken up a bit!

I eggtopsied the remaining 3. All were fully developed, yolks absorbed and ready to pip, they just didn't.

Oooohhh. They all look really fab. The black one is gorgeous. I've never seen an all-black chick before. The Daisies look, well, just like a typical bunch of Daisies! Funny mix of blotches, blobs and chipmunk stripes. So funny the way you don't seem to ever get two that look the same. You're going to LOVE watching them feather out. Here's hoping for hens!!!

Unfortunately one of the Daisies didn't make it, I found it dead when I went to check on them tonight. It's not entirely unexpected though, I had been thinking it wasn't looking as perky as the others for a couple of days. I gave it some vits this afternoon but something obviously wasn't right with the poor chap. So the Dirty Dozen are down to the Grubby 11.
