Do people bath their chickens or is it just silkies people bath or all breeds and what should i use. i herad dog flea tick shampoo works best decided id ask u guys cause u all prob show ur birds and that's what I'm intrested in doin know

You could always give her a big container with some dry dirt and a little Diatomacious Earth or DE just be sure it's food grade DE mixed with the dirt. I'm a fan of letting birds do their natural way of cleaning. Birds use oil change methods of keeping clean by letting dirt soak up the old dirty oil and then replacing the oil on their feather by rubbing an oil glad on the base of their tail and spreading it to their feathers. Mine do this al the time and their feather look clean and shne.. Remember Food grade is the only kind of DE that is safe it must say food grade on the package I think cackle hatchery still sells it..
